So your ready to start learning, lets get started.
- Time to get your provisional licence this can be done at your local post office or alternately you may be able to apply online. Use this link for more help
You can apply up to 3 months before your 17th birthday - Time to get in touch with AMH Driving Academy, you can do this in several ways phone, sms, email or you could even write. Then I can discuss your driving needs put your mind at rest over any issues you may have and hopefully book you in for your first driving lesson.
- Your lessons will follow the syllabus laid down by the DSA but will be fully tailored to your own needs and will only progress at a rate that you are comfortable with.

I Would also recommend one of the widely available cdrom theory test discs as these also contain the hazard perception part of the test. For help or more information about the theory test please feel free to contact me.
- While your working on passing your theory test we will continue to develop your skills for the practical test, how long this stage takes varies depending on each pupils individual skill. Your instructor will advise you on when to book your practical test.
- With your practical test passed most people go onto pass plus a course designed to give you more experience in more intense situations like motorways, dual carriageways and city driving. This can intern lead to a substantial insurance saving.
