With many years teaching experience I should be able to answer all your driving questions, here are some common questions and answers.
What if I’m quite nervous about learning to drive ?You have nothing to worry about, I have over 10 years of experience and much of my time is spent helping nervous drivers achieve success.
I’m at work all day when can I fit my lessons in ?
Not a problem I work late 3 nights per week till 9pm.
If you give me 48 hours notice no charge is made, if you can’t give 48 hours notice let me know as soon as you can and if I can fit you in on the same day at an alternative time no charge is made. If I can’t get you in you are charged your normal lesson rate.
What sort of car do you use ?I use a Volkswagon Polo diesel.
Do you teach in automatics ?No but I do own car tuition, so if you already have a automatic you can learn in your own car.
What test centres do you use ?My normal centre is Buxton but I will be happy to use a centre of your own choice.
How long will it take to learn ?Most people take about 40 hours tuition plus plenty of home practice but this can vary depending on each individual.
What if I can’t get any home practice ?Don’t worry most don’t get any extra practice, having regular lessons will still get you through your test, but you may want to consider having more than 1 lesson per week.
